Multiple Fields:  To search multiple fields select AND OR NOT from the left hand buttons. For example, a specific author AND subject, or a specific author OR title, or a specific author but NOT on a certain subject.

Within a Field: Use an "*" to truncate words. For example forest* in the title field will locate books with the words Forests or Forestry in the title. Within specific fields, use "/" for OR between words to expand your search, or use "&" for AND to focus your search. A Keyword search will look for the specified words anywhere within the record.

Special Searches: To search our video collection, enter "vhs" in the series field. Search for public registry files using the public registry database.
